Sean Doherty Joins Riverside as Executive Chef
Spring is upon us here in Maine (finally) and we're so thankful to be opening our doors for our 25th business year. We've been working tirelessly all winter long to make the restaurant and market even better for our our patrons. This included making a few aesthetic changes, rethinking our menu and hunting for some fresh talent for our kitchen.
We are thrilled to announce that our search for a new chef has ended with Sean Doherty. Formerly at Portland's esteemed Corner Room and more recently at the new Boone's Fish House in the Old Port, Sean will be joining Riverside as our new Chef de Cuisine.
Sean is a Waterville native. With over 25 years in the restaurant industry, he has decided to bring his talents, experience and his family back home, joining us to create an exciting new take on our menu, focusing on our commitment to fresh, local ingredients and our favorite down-home dishes.
